Protect-800 Driveway Alarm

This unique Long RangeProtect-800 Driveway Metal Detecting Alarmwith anOutdoor Receiver&AdjustableSirenisdesigned to be heard Outside by Intruders.

The duration of the Siren is fully adjustable and controlled using a special long rangeRemote Control. When Armed the Siren will trigger for the chosen duration when the Probe is Triggered, you can also trigger the Siren at any time using the SOS Button on the Remote Control.

Outdoor Receiver - Protect-800

This system can be expanded in many ways and is unique to Ultra Secure Direct !!

How it Works:

If the hidden Probe Detects moving Steel (vehicle, push bike or opening steel gate), a Wireless Signal will be transmitted from the Battery Transmitter up to 800 metres away (line of sight) which equates to around 400 - 600 metres in most applications to the Outdoor Receiver.

Probe & Outdoor Receiver - Protect-800

If the Receiver is in the Armed status then the Adjustable Siren will activate for the chosen duration (this can be turned off by the owners before the duration has elapsed by using a special long range (800 metre) remote control.

The owner could also trigger the Siren using the SOS Button on the Remote Control in the event of a Medical or Security emergency, in these situations the Siren will stay latched ON until it is turned OFF using the special remote control (more remote controls can be added).

The fully weatherproof Outdoor Receiver is powered by a Plug in 12v Transformer (the cable can enter the box through waterproof glands at the bottom or from the rear panel) and controlled by a special long range (800 metre) Remote Control.

The surface mounting Weatherproof Sirencan be adjusted in Tone & Volume (from low to approximately 106 Decibels, ideal if you do not want a really loud Siren.

This is ideal for when you want a loud notification of the arrival of a Visitor (friendly or not) together with letting the Visitor know they have been detected.

Wireless Transmitter & Probe:

The Wireless Transmitter is powered by 3 x CR123A batteries and is fully weatherproof, the Vehicle Detecting Probe is supplied with 14 metres of Cable going back to the Transmitter Box, this allows you to install the Transmitter Box in a covert location and a location suitable for Wireless Transmission.

Probe & Battery Transmitter

The probe is designed to be buried just under the surface/grass parallel to the driveway, and will only pick up moving steel, so it is perfect for locations with large animals roaming around. It can even be placed next to a locked steel gate, and would only detect the gate if it moves.

Probe Installation

It is recommended that the Cable is fitted inside some protective sleeving prevent small ground animals damaging it.

There is sensitivity adjustment on the Transmitter Board allowing you to fine tune your Alarm.

You could also add an Internal Chime Receiver (004-4110)to the system allowing you to be notified when you are inside the House or Office.

Duration:

The duration of the Siren is fully adjustable (by selecting combinations of the internal dip-switches) from 1 seconds to Latched ON, the full list is as below:

  • 1 second or minute.
  • 3 seconds or minutes.
  • 10 seconds or minutes.
  • 15 seconds or minutes.
  • 20 seconds or minutes.
  • 30 seconds or minutes.
  • Latched ON (until disarmed using the remote control).



Remote Control:

The specially designed remote control supplied with this Outdoor Receiver has the following features:

  • Arm & Disarm either channel on the Outdoor Receiver.
  • Trigger a optional SOS button which would activate the connected accessories (regardless of if the receiver is disarmed) which could be a Siren, Buzzer, Floodlight or any 12v DC device. This device would latch on until the OFF Button is pressed on any Remote Control paired to the Receiver.

The Remote Control has an intelligent Feedback LED Indicator which confirms that the signal you have sent to the Outdoor Receiver is successful.

Additional Remote Controlscan be added (there is no limit).

The operating distance between the Remote Control & Outdoor Receiver is 800 metres (line of sight) which relates to around 400 - 600 metres in most applications. This allows you to Disarm the Receiver before passing through a Protect 800 Detector, or Arming the Receiver after leaving the premises.
